Game Design Director

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executives, creatives, and engineering to set the overall vision and direction for our upcoming Metaverse & NFT games and experiences.
  • Lead the nascent game design team in creating epic experiences based on premium IP.
  • Work with the producers and engineers to determine the production priorities, scope, and roadmap.
  • Define the design methods appropriate to the project and communicate those with the game design team.
  • Guide and support the game design team to ensure that the systems answer the various constraints and ultimately create the right user experience for our community.
  • Establish GamesPad as a well known gaming studio in the industry

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of game design experience with multiple shipped titles in a leadership role.
  • Ability to communicate a vision and maintain good relationships with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute with innovative ideas towards all aspects of game design.
  • Experience in previous well known gaming company 
  • Proven ability to guide and inspire development teams.
  • Ability to set and analyze KPIs in order to iterate and determine the success of each project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Metaverse, Gaming or NFT space in blockchain.
  • Basic crypto knowledge is a plus

Director/Head of Strategic Partnerships

Responsibilities:

 

  • Research the crypto landscape in target markets to choose the best partners for our project.
  • Lead customized technical integration agreement structuring and negotiation with our blockchain, cryptocurrency, gaming partners.
  • Provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, delivering critical business insights and launching initiatives that impact the market.
  • Work alongside marketing and development teams to develop the comprehensive set of partners needed for company growth
  • Build a best in class crypto platform via partnership, institutional sales, and product expertise
  • Manage due diligence process for prospective and existing clients
  • Manage client relationships across all institutional verticals through platform-wide and vertical-specific initiatives

Head of Operations – Project Manager

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Co-Founders and cross-functional team leads to deeply understand the business, generate operational designs, and ensure their successful execution.
  • Build out specific functions within the organization and recruit resources necessary to fill gaps.
  • Participate in the strategic process of identifying goals, setting company OKRs.
  • Own special projects as needed to help our client achieve its OKRs, customer milestones, and capitalization requirements.
  • Improve the team’s decision making speed and execution through organizational process.
  • Own task management tools and make sure departments are working efficiently 

Requirements

Program Manager – Head of Incubation Program

What You’ll Do

  • Set the overall plan and strategy for the GamesPad Incubation Program and execute on that plan
  • Recruit, vet, and select participants for the Program, in conjunction with internal and external experts
  • Manage the day to day operations – run the program, including working closely with investors, mentors, advisors to understand their needs and support them throughout their time in the program
  • Identify, recruit and onboard mentors and advisors for the program; work to match projects to advisors and mentors and set up meetings for developers with experts across industry 
  • Assist in managing project cycles from start to finish (tokenomics creation, pitch deck, legal documentation etc)
  • Work closely with leadership to develop new strategies, assess program strengths and address areas for improvement
  • Design processes, playbooks, and policies to standardize and scale the program

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years + previous startup / tech experience, ideally in an operations-based role
  • Ability to lead a small team and manage the program from beginning to end – project management and client-facing experience are ideal, alongside being a quick learner (system thinker)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to all stakeholders.
  • An ability to think creatively to solve problems and to work without being closely managed and comfortable working in ambiguity but with high expectations
  • Can anticipate the needs and requests of multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital
